I support adolescents and adults through a wide range of emotional and life challenges. Some of the concerns I most often work with include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship difficulties, stress, low self-esteem, and difficulty managing emotions.

Yes. I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation so we can discuss what brings you to therapy, answer your questions, and determine whether I may be a good fit for your needs.

After our consultation call, you may decide to go ahead and schedule an intake session. This first session is an opportunity to get to know one another. We'll discuss in more detail what brings you to therapy, review your history, identify your goals, and begin developing a plan for treatment. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel heard and understood.

Intake appointments are 60 minutes. Most individual therapy sessions are approximately 55 minutes.

I am a private-pay practice and do not participate directly with insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of service. If you have out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide superbills that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Yes. Your privacy is very important. Information shared during therapy is confidential except in situations where disclosure is required or permitted by law, such as concerns about imminent safety, suspected abuse or neglect, or a valid court order. These exceptions will be reviewed during your informed consent process.

Finding the right therapist is important. During our consultation or first appointment, we'll discuss your concerns, goals, and expectations. If I believe another provider or service would better meet your needs, I will gladly help connect you with appropriate resources.

Yes. As a former school counselor, I enjoy working with younger clients and often collaborate with parents, school personnel and other treatment providers to facilitate wraparound support when needed. Typically I see adolescents ages 14+, but I do accept younger clients on a case by case basis.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, relational interventions, and trauma-focused therapies—to create a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique needs, strengths, and goals.
